The house is just a block or two from where we live in Tillsonburg. Took these photos on a short walk the day after the "big" snow storm. What make this house especially appealing to me, apart from its architecture, is that it was the Manse (parsonage) in 1890 of the Minister of the Wesleyan Methodist church which amalgamated with two other denominations to become the United Church of Canada in 1925.
Today, it's still called "The Manse" but functions as a restaurant - casual fine dining, http://www.manserestaurant.com/index.html Haven't been inside yet, but I think one day we may have lunch there.
I've added a new camera to my collection. The goal was to find a camera that could do it all, yet fit easily in my pocket, and cost less than my last camera. Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS20K There are complaints about "noise" in the photos, but I can deal with it. It's a fabulous camera in all other respects. So I suppose you'll be expecting to see some photos here! OK, they're coming. In the meantime, you might review an updated History of my cameras to date (Feb 2013)
