Elizabeth Is a Great Helper

Elizabeth was over for Saturday, and she joined right in on the hard work. First she made the rounds through the front garden to see that all the plants were O.K.

Clearly, some plants needed a little watering

But the biggest job was getting the gravel and crusher dust in the little trailer for hauling over to her mom & dad's place.

A Job well done- she knew what needed to be done, and how to do it.

Stay Clear

On a recent geocaching expedition, we got a little too close to this mom's nest of babies. She was quite angry about it all, kicking up distracting fuss. Notice her crown feathers raised up.

Jean and I are headed out for a week or so, to do some exploring, hiking, and geocaching -- it's geocaching that gets us to sites and places we'd never think of going or finding on our own. Jean's Birthday Today

Today is Jean's Birthday. She is the most beautiful, wonderful and amazing woman that I know. She seems capable of almost anything and what she can't do she let's me have a go at. She's a potter, an artist, the best Oma a kid could ask for, and she enables & encourages me to do whatever it is I do.
