Ed, this looks like great fun. Quite the sled, too.
When I was young, we never had fancy sleds like this. All we had were plain, wooden toboggans - with no padding on the seat.
One time Scott and I were sledding down the Door's backyard. This led across the open lot and eventually into the Shaver's lot. The thing was to go as fast as possible, while avoiding trees along the way. One time we went down together, each on our own toboggan. Side by side we flew down the hill. It was a harrowing ride that turned almost tragic when my toboggan clipped a tree. One of the planks sheered right off. Crazy stuff!
