Removing a Background etc, revisited

We're agreed that the previous rendition was a little overdone, giving Elizabeth that "hollywood" look. This might be a little better. And, as I mentioned in the comments, Elizabeth doesn't need any fixing--she's beautiful just as she is; it's the photo that needs help and that's only a reflection on the photographer.

Thanks! And really, Elizabeth herself doesn't need any fixing, she's beautiful just as she is. But the photo needs some "doings", and that's only a sign of the photographer's limitation.

Indeed, I find photography such an interesting hobby for just that reason. I see so many beautiful things around me which I want to be able to share with others "as it is", but so often its just not quite the same in the photograph. It is a real art taking a good photo. Ofcourse there is the entire field within photography of using certain effects associated with a camera (focus, exposure, etc) to change the subject under the lens and make something different.
